About Rae Smith
I am a Pastel Artist , a member of Pastel Arts Canada , VANS(Visual arts Nova Scotia) ,Luneburg Art Gallery,I work mostly on sanded paper , exhibit at three local galley, Gallery 97 , Art Zone Gallery in Halifax ,Going Coastal Gallery in Chester, Nova Scotia .I paint a lot of marine pictures from scenes captured by camera from my sailboat . Pictures also from travels to Bermuda , England , France,Wales ,Scotland , Dominican Republic , British Columbia and Alaska. I also taught Pastels at Chester Art Centre in July2010 Feb.03,2011 was an opening of an art exhibition at the "Craig Gallery" Alderney Landing ,in Dartmouth,N.S.I has several new pieces there on display. Love those tug boats! Of course I'm highly biased since we own a pleasure boat modeled on tug lines. Thanks for your comment on my lynx Rae. The lynx did approach me but I was in full view- it was simply curious and I made some squeeking noises to keep it interested. I loved your story about the bobcat!
